We just completed recording of another classic Sage tune. "You" is the orginal Beatle tribute tune we wrote. Chris and I had so much fun writing this one, that it has always been one of our favorites. This also is the first recording we have done with the new Ludwig drum set. I guess it is fitting, since Ringo used a very similar set on the early Beatle tracks. You can check "You" out by going to Sage Tracks and clicking on the "Tribute To The Beatles" collection.

Probably the biggest thing that has happened to Sage in the past few months is that I am now officially out of the corporate world. As of June, Wellpoint decided that they could live without me and I am now a free agent. I am using this "forced retirement" to shift gears and get myself more focused on what I really want to do in life. A really big part of what I want to do is music and so I am rededicating myself to song writing, recording and marketing of Sage material. Let's all keep our fingers crossed and maybe the extra time I have now will help produce that big break Chris and I are looking for!

Well, a lot of things happened to me in 2005 that made it a terrible and a great year. The terrible part was mainly that my 10 year marriage came to an end. On the great side, I became a Grandfather when my oldest daughter brought a wonderful baby boy into the world. Another great thing that happened is that I moved to Georgia and bought a cool log cabin on Lake Harding. I have met so many wonderful people during my time here in Georgia and I plan to stay for a long while.
On the SAGE front, the greatest thing happened in 2005. In the fall, Chris agreed to start coming down to Georgia for extended visits. Since then, our music production has taken off and are making real progress in getting our material heard by music industry decision-makers. The best thing about this though is to be creating new music on a regular basis together!
