SAUCE Productions is a production house and publishing company founded by Derrick Berry of BerrEduar Productions who often goes by the moniker Bad Lieutenant or Diesel, depending on who you talk to or what track you're listening to. SAUCE is the production end of SAUCY Entertainment which is a new label also founded by D and handles publishing chores for the deep and varied catalog Derrick has accrued over his years of production experience including the BerrEduar catalog and various other written and co-produced songs and tracks.

Essentially, we are here more for music licensing opportunities than anything else. We want to deliver quality musical alternatives to the "normal" compositions we hear often in visual environments across the board.

A SAUCY start

SAUCE Productions is a production house and publishing company founded by Derrick Berry who goes by the moniker Bad Liuetenant or Diesel, depending on who you talk to. SAUCE is the production end of SAUCY Entertainment which is a new label also founded by Berry and handles publishing chores for the deep and varied catalog Derrick has accrued over his 20 plus years of production experience.

Derrick is one half of the dance production duo BerrEduar Productions known mostly for their international release "Running Away" which blossomed on the European front and is and has been a major mix ingredient of the euro DJ set since it's 2004 release.

SAUCE was founded to handle the diverse collection of songs which culminate from the collaborations and/or experiences which Diesel has drawn from. As the modern day music business model has evolved so has Diesel who saw the direction the industry was heading in and launched a studio/DJ and artist "expose" dubbed MEKASOUND.

The first half of that name came from Diesel's desire to infer MEKASOUND as, a mecca..."A place that is regarded as the center of an activity or interest of high standards and quality." The pseudonym of which was derived by himself and friend King Britt one day during a conversation regarding it's inception, which stands for "Musically Enhanced Kinetic Audio." Although parts of the MEKASOUND business model did not get off the ground, they were ahead of their time and now that time has come. MEKASOUND exsists now soley as Diesels own production studio in his Philadelphia home, one of several studios he uses, but who knows...this thing ain't over yet.
