Shelton is a 4-piece rock and roll ensemble hailing from Birmingham, Alabama; an unlikely city for pop-smart songwriters. Musically and lyrically, Shelton draws influences from several different eras of rock music. Without following modern trends and searching for ways to subgenre their style, they've established themselves as a rock and roll outfit inspired by the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and a variety of modern acts including Creeper Lagoon, Pete Yorn, and the Pernice Brothers.
