Story Behind The Song
Instead of telling the story behind this song, I'll share about how it ended up on the CD. I'd only planned on putting 11 songs on the CD. Well, at the 11th hour before the CD needed to go to Capitol to be mastered and then replicated, I called Leonard and said, "I think I need to put this on the CD!" Everyone keeps commenting in church on how much they love it. As time would have it, Leonard called Peter Sprague and set up a day for us to meet that week and there you have it. We went in, met with Peter, talked him through the flow and the three of us recorded it all at once. Leonard was in one studio, I was in another, and Peter sat behind the soundboard and hit record. We opted to keep it simple.
