Story Behind The Song
This collaboration is a long time coming. I've been wanting to co-write a song with my good friend and master lyricist Dale Lawrence for quite some time. I have sung lead vocals on quite a few of his songs but we've never truly collaborated on a song until now. This was a blast. I wrote the music for this song after getting a request to score an independent movie soundtrack that ultimately didn't materialize. Later, I decided to branch out and make this part orchestral, part "epic rock" tune a vocal song. That's when I called on Dale. He painted a magnificent picture with his lyrics which inspired me to get ambitious and add many vocal tracks. The end result is Futurescape. Hope you enjoy.
