The rich wife has everything... money and material items, but... her husband is very distant and they are in a loveless marriage. She looks across the street at a seemingly poverty level household. They don't have material possessions... what they have is so much more. You can't buy love. She realizes she's jealous and wants what the "poor wife" has. She decides she'd rather be poor and happy than rich and unhappy.
