Lyrics
Since the night I've met you - sailing close to the wind,
Since it's up to me, i am standing still.
Was it something you said that led me under a spell?
A trail or an error, my tricks are not as well.
With a wave of emotion you'll take me near
When the door shut behind you, I stand still.
The sand in your mouth,
Has grown a desert plant full of thorn's
When you kiss me on my mouth,
It undermines my throat
But there's one thing I know - the last word I'll draw is - nevermore.
With your used wires you're building up my trap
I take pleasure from the rust on your lap.
I lay in wait till you'd pull me out of your hat,
Was it something I said that made you sweat?
With a wave of emotion you'll take me near
When the door shut behind you, I stand still.
The sand in your mouth,
Has grown a desert plant full of thorn's
When you kiss me on my mouth,
It undermines my throat
But there's one thing I know - the last word I'll draw is - nevermore.
With me it's like the season's way,
I'm changing under your noise,
Did you know I've been here?
Did you notice?
Nevermore.
