Story Behind The Song
Jimmy got his first job at the local bakery when he was only 13 years old. Every summer from then on he worked at every different fast food chain, grocery store, warehouse and factory in town. He spent most of his money on booz and cigarettes but by the time he was eighteen he had managed to save up just enough to buy his first vintage Les Paul electric guitar. This was the first song Jimmy ever wrote.
Song Description
Intriguing piano and guitar melodies in the intro set the stage for this high-energy, heavy guitar driven song. The shifts in mood from the conservative verses to the aggressive chorus make for effective song dynamics. The bridge takes off on a welcome tangent only to drift seamlessly back into the chorus melody, for a final, heavily reinforced and stripped down delivery of the hook.
