Story Behind The Song

A musician friend of my got kicked off his cruse ship gig for failing the drug test. He was put off the ship at the next port which happened to be The Dominican Republic. He got a gig at a hotel and proceeded to drink himself to death. He called me up one day and when I asked him how it was down there he said, "Well it's a sunny place for shady people."
