Story Behind The Song
I played a lot of coffeehouses in Chicago when I was younger. At some places, the audience was there to listen to the performer, but at others, the audience treated the performer as little more than background music. I wrote this song and a few similar ones to get their attention. This song always gets a few laughs when performed in public.
Song Description
I decided to write a song featuring some of the worst pickup lines I'd ever heard. It's sung from the viewpoint of a desperate lonely guy using every pickup line in the book.

Lyrics
Are there any unattached chicks in the audience
Who'd like to go to a
party
After this is over with
Is there any unattached chick in the
audience
Who'd like to come up to my place
After this is over with
I am
lonely
Got nobody
Need somebody
But I don't sit at home and cry
If you
think that
I am joking
Won't you listen
And won't you look into my
eyes
Are there any unattached chicks in the audience
Who'd like to step out
for some fresh air
After this is over with
Is there any unattached chick in
the audience
Who'd like to come and see my etchings
After this is over with
