Lyrics
Lady of Winter
She stands alone in the wood,
but I espyed her between maple and oak,
and her flesh is paler than pale
beneath her hood dark blue veins gather at the wrists
to lace her elongated hands and where she stands
frost kisses the land.
And when she opens her eyes, I am frozen,
mesmerized, and her blink is languid and slow
and a thousand snow flakes scatter down her cheeks,
to sink, just sink to the ground, and in a whispered hush
gave the earth a delicate blush.
Watching her I can never leave, I'm doomed to stand in awe,
an than I sighed an she turned away and left a
flurry of sweet snow, sweet snow, sweet snow,
swept up in the sky.
An then she's parted her lips, floating out her breath
so frigid that upon each branch in it's path, icicles
had formed both cold and rigid and all the trees
now bow down to her, bearing
the fruit of her labor,
the sight of her wintry favor
Watching her I can never leave
I'm doomed to stand in awe,
an than I sighed and she turned away
and left a flurry of sweet snow, sweet snow, sweet snow,
swept up in the sky.
THIS MARVEL I HAVE SPYED WINTERS OWN LADY!
