Story Behind The Song

Wanted to try out my lap dulcimer and we kind of got carried away. Started out being traditional and ended up with something we thought was different for this style of music. Our first cut ever and I felt it set a great mood for the rest of the recording.

Song Description

A bit of a rock song with a Appalachian feel or vice versa. Thought we would do something that would bring Shady Grove into the 20-21st century. Shady Grove is an 18th-century folk song that was popular in the United States.
