Song Description
This is an older song that I wrote about reflecting about and loving/missing a loved one... and doing so from afar, perhaps even from the heavens.
This one (like all my older tunes) was recorded pre-studio and pre-Pro Tools, with either an Tascam four track or a Fostex eight track. I'm pretty sure this one was recorded on the Fostex.

Lyrics
Star of Mine
Words and music Frank Pietrantoni © 1997
Sam DiBaise (Vocals and Guitars),
I know this star of mine
And I'll hold this star of mine
This star's so bright
Beaming through the night
Spreading smiles and all the while
Making everything right
I know this star of mine
And I'll hold this star of mine
She can be so true
In a world that seems so cruel
Shining high in the darkest sky
I watched her as she grew
I know this star of mine
And I'll hold this star of mine
And even though she's gone
I have to carry on
I hope and pray that she's okay
Brightly shining on
I know this star of mine
I'll hold this star of mine
I know this star of mine
I'll hold this star of mine
As time has passed
My star still lasts
Burning brighter throughout the night
This time has gone so fast
I know this star of mine (shines beneath my sky)
I'll hold this star of mine (as time passes by)
I know this star of mine (shines for me some way)
I'll hold this star of mine (until we meet again)
