Story Behind The Song
This song is about learning to let go of all attachments in the material realm. The song is sad and lonely, which is very much how I felt during the early days of my love affair with my husband, Barry. I learned that regardless how I tried, I could not manipulate the cosmic timeline of events. Consequently, I had to let him go and leave the rest in God’s hands. Barry later used this song in his father’s eulogy to express the necessity of letting him go on to his next assignment.
