Story Behind The Song
The inspiration for the original song, meeting that girlfriend,came about quite by chance, by accident. I was languishing in a world of surfers, druggies and feeling pretty out of place when I said hello to her and she responded thinking I was some other guy she'd met. The rest was history-my history.
The girl in the re-write was no accident but no less life-changing.
