Story Behind The Song
I typically learn how to play instruments by writing songs on them. This is a simple song I wrote in 2019 while getting more familiar with the Uke. While I was strumming these chords I pondering the fate of my relationship and this is what came out.
Song Description
When you're in a relationship, you want to be with someone who knows themselves. This song was meant to SOUND happy but, have you ever been around someone who always has to be right? It is incredibly draining and it completely negates natural EQ and wisdom when it comes to matters of morality. But, by design, you can also enjoy it as a love song if you choose to.

Lyrics
If you could run away, where would you go?
If you could shape the clay, what would you mold?
What you may want can fall short of what you hold
but I'm sure you already know.
I listened to my favorite songs tonight and each one felt brand new.
Singing along, questions began to arise and they reminded me of you.
The songwriters know more than they let on.
But you'll say you already knew.
I'm sure you already Know.
What you may want can fall short of what you hold
but I'm sure you already know.
