Story Behind The Song
I've listened to the news ...EACH day... regarding what is happening in Gaza. Being someone with no hereditary 'skin' in the game, it should be easy to let it roll off. But I cannot.
Song Description
The whole world is more concerned about the side you are on and who's more "right" than they are about the babies getting blown apart, horribly displaced murdered each day. How is it that their deaths are NOT important enough to stop this thing? How is it that your long hatred for the other side supersedes the senseless deaths of innocents??

Lyrics
Wear your past
Like the Devils' mask
I don't feel so good
Justify
Those babies die
I don't feel so good
Tell me like I'm a child
Explain it till it's understood
Then justify as those babies die
I don't feel so good
Make it hurt
'Cause they started first
I don't feel so good
Pray like sin
Then begin again
I don't feel so good
Tell me as you bury me
Pile that truth till it's very deep
Justify as the babies die
I don't feel so good
Compassion ends
Where true faith begins
Tell me again
How there is no sin
Compromise
Is a dirty lie
I don't feel so good
Well, I thought we'd figure it out by now
I thought we'd figure it out
I Thought we'd figure it out by now
Thought we'd figure it out
Figure it out by now
Learn to do our best
Thought we'd figure it out by now
Maybe hate each other less
Maybe hate each other less
Hate each other less
I thought we'd figure it out
Thought we'd figure it out
