I know this song! This dude can write. Lonely For You is such a great line and the counter melody line that the guitar plays in the interlude is fabulous. Julia crushes the bridge on this version. Love the hook in this song because it's simple but never gets boring. Bravo.

Lyrically the rhymes and meter were good but for the most part the use of generic lines or cliché's should be avoided and replaced with fresh images and actions...the groove was positive and upbeat but the lyric was a little on the dark side of lonely...I can hear an indie artist cutting this but I'm not sure about a major country artist...

I liked the hook and it was a heart felt country tune. I liked the song, it flowed well.

Nice sounding song. I enjoyed listening to this. It had a good feel the whole way through. Nice instrumentation, vocals, and of course, writing. The production was well done. It's the kind of the song I could listen to several times over and not get tired of hearing. Nicely done!
