Diana Rasmussen is a Singer/Songwriter and pianist based out of southern Wisconsin.. She has won many awards for her music at Broadjam, Inc. in the folk, country, pop, and jazz genres. Awards include 2014 and 2013 Steinberg TOP 40 Finalist. Diana's music has also been on Women of Substance Radio. Diana sounds like Joan Baez or Annie Lennox. I am a wife, a mom, a musician, and many other things, depending on the day. I'm sure you can relate. I love to write music, it is a universal language, and touches even the hardest heart.

I use my music to give hope to those who have been bruised, betrayed, or broken along the path of life. God has delivered me from rape, depression, homelessness, suicide attempts, divorce, domestic violence, and betrayal.

My focus this year is to write "heart songs" that will touch listeners and give them hope and peace.

I also blog about my travels and journey at Prayers and Promises.
There you'll find spiritual stuff for hope, poetry about escaping domestic violence, and even an occasional rant!

Currently I lead the worship team at Janesville Apostolic Ministries in Janesville, WI. I play keyboards with my husband, Bob, on guitar, along with an awesome group of anointed singers.
