Story Behind The Song
I was writing a song with the word "Halo" held out in a yearning manner over fast-moving chord changes. The feeling from the song was brought to life through this melody/harmony /rhythm combination and all things pointed toward gratitude and redemption redemption from a life in the fast lane. (Yes, I do realize this is not much of s "story", but it's the goll-danged truth. I can make something up if need be.)
Song Description
Halo is an upbeat song with a theme of gratitude and redemption. It's a buddy song with a Heavenly lilt to it.

Lyrics
HALO
what better time for breaking through
the sky's a bright kentucky blue
what better place to share the view
then right here standing next to you
halo halo
i want to hear the wind blow
halo halo
i want to feel the wind blow
please open up your window
pure like a sunday children's choir
set free by freedom from desire
pulled from a burning lake of flame
to a bright kentucky blue
(chorus)
what better time for breaking through
the sky's a bright kentucky blue
what better place to share the view
then right here standing next to you
