Story Behind The Song
We were inspired to write this song after the events of 911. We wanted to write a song as a tribute to our military, firefighters, police, all those who lost loved ones, and our nation in general.
Song Description
This is a great song for military families, patriots, and those that know the price we must pay to protect the freedoms we enjoy in America. The song was inspired by 911 and the efforts of our great nation to protect the homeland, pursue justice, and defeat terrorism at home and abroad.

Lyrics
Caught in the crossfire Of fanatical games
We've been pushed to the limit
Things won't be the same
Cultures clash and worlds collide
But you should know
There's nowhere to hide
Our politicians
Are making decisions
Do they know what's best for you and me
And do they think about the consequences
That it will surely bring
Chorus:
Desert Sands
Freedoms Price
Desert Sands
Our Sacrifice
This desert life is misery
But if you want freedom then know it ain't free
If you think you can take our way of life
Then realize it comes with a price
We don't understand your point of view
But you don't understand
What we're feeling too
Chorus:
Desert Sands
Running Red
Desert Sands
It's a Deathbed
War is hell and that's for sure
But you've gotta fight for what is yours
If we take it to them we won't fight it here
And that'll resolve our greatest fear
Give peace a chance for us all today
Give peace a chance, tomorrow's another day
Chorus
Desert Sands
Freedoms Price
Desert Sands
Our Sacrifice
Freedoms Price
Our Sacrifice
Freedoms Price
Our Sacrifice
Freedoms Price
Our Sacrifice
