Lyrics
I thought I'd hit it big out here, I thought I'd stay for a while
I thought I'd find my pot of gold, I thought I'll be living in style
Somebody told me, in this town your dreams'll come true,
I think somebody lied to me, so watch out they'll lie to you too
Welcome to Las Vegas, or Sin City as it is known
You go all in on the river or turn and you wind up going home
Everything I read online, said it's a perfect vacation spot
But all we did when we got here, was walk, walk, walk
Bring the wife and kids out here, maybe you can take in a show
But what we saw on stage was all the rage, and I knew that it was time to go
Welcome to Las Vegas, a city of shimmering lights
Get a room with an awesome view, and end up staying out all night
Welcome to Las Vegas, just leave your keys with the valet
Gourmet dining everywhere you turn, but you always up at the buffet
Dreams die hard
With a single role of the dice
Pocket aces can give you false hope
Before you head out stop and think twice
Welcome to Las Vegas, or Sin City as it is known
Roll snake eyes, then you seven out, and you wind up going home
It seemed like such a romantic town, wedding chapels everywhere
But you wake up in the morning, to learn that it was just a dare
Casino's everywhere, as far as the eye can see
But up and down the boulevard, someone's trying to take my money from me
Welcome to Las Vegas, seems like the sun shines all day
The desert sand or a losing hand, leave you feeling the same way
Before you head out hit the ATM, forget about the service fee
You'll pay out the nose for all of your meals, but at least the drinks are free
So welcome to Las Vegas, there's good times for everyone,
I Left town with a couple of bills, so I guess you could say that I won
You are now leaving Las Vegas; we hope you enjoyed your stay
I may have lost the shirt off my back, but I'll be back again someday.
Welcome to Las Vegas, It looks like the house wins again
Welcome to Las Vegas, It looks like the house wins again
Welcome to Las Vegas, It looks like the house wins again
Welcome to Las Vegas
