Totally like the vocal and the instrumentation. Nice steel guitar and harmonica work. Enjoying the backing vocals and the vocal deliveries in general. Interesting and creative chord progression. Nice job with this song! I could see this ending up in a movie soundtrack. Cool hook and nice variations on the delivery of it.
What a surprise! I didn't know you wrote cowboy music! I love that stuff! The fiddles, guitars, slow tempos...the instrumentation is like the Michael Martin Murphy. Remember "Wildfire" and "Geronimo's Cadillac"? Lyrically, it's full of memories and the wistful loping melody follows that theme.
Good nostalgic song about being a kid at the Saturday matinees. Been there done that. This would be a good song to pitch to Willie Nelson for an album cut
You already know I love this one!! Would be first or last cut on one side of the "Corey's Greatest Hits"!! I really like your vocal on this...lots of feeling!!
Nice vibe, nice story line and great instrumentation. Definitely gives a great country vibe and the story line puts you right where the song is. Great job.
very unique song i liked the idea and the story you included in the song nice job
This is a good song that is well arranged and played. The theme of nostalgia for youth gone by is a familiar one and should resonate with a lot of listeners. It might have some success on the radio if you can find a way to get it on the playlist, but that'w very difficult to do. I'm not sure if there is potential for it on film or on TV because it deals specifically with the recalling of days spent at the local movie house as kids, and it may be hard to find a scene that this would work with.
reminds me of the song saturday at the movies. lyrics were very good. brought back memories when I use to see movies.
I like the sound of the drums and harmonica - I also like the lead guitar riffs - sounds a little like a young Kenny Rogers.
