Story Behind The Song
This song was written after I quit a desk job on only my fifth day at work. It was a well-paying job in a nice office, and the management was shocked and angry. But I knew I couldn't bring myself to do the boring work that I didn't care about, and I quit.
Song Description
A bank robber steals money from a bank, but gives it all away afterwards. Instead of money, his payoff is the feeling of being alive and taking a big chance instead of following the status quo. The song is a metaphor for taking chances and following dream

Lyrics
The bank clock slowly swept around
Gathering interest from the crowd
Nobody in line knew I was on the edge
No more negotiation, do it my way instead
Feels so good to be on the run
I always knew that I would be the one
To try my hand while the others keep talking
Yeah, I?m done sleepwalking
Shaken, tremble, the teller was so scared
She filled my bag while the other people stared
She said ?Hey man wipe that smile off your face?
I shrugged my shoulder, something made me say
Feels so good to be on the run
I always knew that I would be the one
To try my hand while the others keep talking
Yeah, I?m done sleepwalking
Now?s the time for me to get away?
I left the bank and I gave away the money
Never regretted anything I?ve done
My soul might be corrupt, but now I know
At least I got one
Yeah, I'm done sleepwalking
Yeah, I'm done sleepwalking
Yeah, I'm done sleepwalking
Yeah, I'm done sleepwalking
