Story Behind The Song

The blues tells the truth and when you have yhe blues the most is when you're in love.You figure you'll never act that way again and lo and behold... we act that way again! I wrote thinking about how I thought my world would end at 18 if my lover didn't come back. I would drive around looking for him, call him, think I heard him at my door. I was crazed but express it simply here. The blues had overtaken me for sure. He never came back thank gawd!!
