Story Behind The Song
Moshe Daniel wrote the lyrics of this psalng initially to the melody and song structure of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" as a response to that song, which is about King David, the father of King Solomon. Moshe Daniel's psalng begins "oh yes, there is a secret chord, that daddy played, and it pleases the Lord..." And Moshe requested permission from Sony Music to do such a thing. They said... ummm... no! And so, Moshe had to go back to the drawing board and rewrite the whole song structure and melody. And lo! Not only was he able to do so, but the change really improved the psalng and brought it to a very special, wonderful level. It is one of the most beautiful songs Moshe has ever written, and is a gorgeous, moving, fabulous ending of the album, for unification of the tribes, and peace on Earth.
Song Description
On the album The Psalngs of Solomon, this IS THE Psalng of Solomon, where he sings to lament his past, calls for the unification of the tribes, and peace between Ishmael and Israel. This is such a beautiful Psalng - a psalm as a song, written with tremendous passion, care, and depth, there is such a beautiful melody in this music that it really moves the soul. Probably one of the best, if not THE BEST psalng on the album. A great grand finale for the album.

Lyrics
1)
Oh yes there is a secret chord, that
Daddy played and it pleases the Lord, but
Do you care to hear this music, do ya?
Well if you do then listen on,
What really matters is Imagine
Nation now or never it's all up to YOU yeah,
Is it all up to you? Yeah! Is it up to me too? Yeah!
Do we wait for Jah? Yeah! And we do and we be and we be and we do
do be do do be do yeah!
2)
And I have come to be healed and freed,
From all that I desired in greed,
But how could I let our Love go and deny her?
When she draws back her bow now I open my shirt,
So the Love can ascend healing the hurt,
That I caused when I fell in love with absolute power
Love of Power kills! Love of Absolute Power is Hell!
Love of Power Heals when the power of love fulfills
Interlude 1
3)
And we're still missing the Ark from Aaron,
Maybe I can get it from the Leonard Cohen,
I wouldn't want to interrupt him if he's sitting Zazen.
But if he would, then I shall,
Open up the lid, for One and All,
And sing inside Shalom Salaam,
Shalom Salaam,
Asalaam aleychem Sons of Abraham
4)
And we've been slaves, just like all peoples,
And we've had snakes to command our chapels,
If we told some lies it was really only to fool ya
But never mind how those things began,
It only matters how they'll end,
An angry or a friendly NeighborHoova,
Friendly Neighborhoova, Place of Peace with an open door-vah,
Door-Vah Dor Welcome Kingdome Come In Yeah
Interlude 2
5)
If I wasn't clear enough, I'll climb a tall tent pole,
To shout out I know the Third Temple,
Has an open door cause it's really for all people,
We came at this hour to Unite the Tribes,
To heal where TowerBle Tongues have divided,
Bring down the stones 'cause He's here Oh Israel,
Did you that Jerusalem means "They Will See Peace"?
Did you know that the King's name, it is the same?
6)
Bring down the Golden Dome Oh Ishmael,
Place it in the square of the Kotel (the Wailing Wall),
And Sons of Abraham, Sit down and share some falafel.
And clear those rocks of our tribe-ulations,
So the Stone of the Holiest Can shine Its Light of Day Again,
And this time let the Light Be unto the Nations,

Unto All Nations,
