Lyrics

Shinnyo En.

I don't remember, I don't recall
If the first time that I met her I said anything at all
But soon enough I was part of her game
Going half way round the world just to understand her claims

The city lights were just the same, but somehow new,
Blinding with excitement, they only call the chosen few
Altered reality, questions to be asked
A chance to understand the wisdom of the past

I don't want any more of this,
It's the same old song over and over again
How did I get taken in
By the lies of Shinnyo-en

In a land of tatamika, nothing's what it seems
Look behind the broken reeds and see the shattered dreams
The tombs of children are the spirit voice they speak
and their miracles of healing bring devotion from the week

And when I told her that this isn't what I need
She turns and says to me that I could plant the seed
To t hink about the future, and the riches it could bring
That the sheep are there to follow, and that I could be their king

Very Neil youngish ..with a modern british flavour!!!!!
