Story Behind The Song
Seeing too much hypocrisy and malice in everyday living, I decided to sit and write out my angst in an attempt to purge myself of hopelessness.
Song Description
Flowers takes a glimpse at the absurdity of society as a whole, examining things like politics, love, and human behavior. All is not lost, however, and by the end of the song, I proclaim that "it's not over" and that our miracle is yet to come.

Lyrics
FLOWERS
V1
Turn on the TV
Nothing is new
Death and destruction
Lets start the day
Someone is screaming
Jesus is coming
No one is listening
No ones prepared
A new life is born into the world
Without a father to hold his hand
We go through stages
Shadowy phases
How will we pay?
CHORUS:
So much corruption
No revelation
Watching the flowers as they die
Global confusion
Loves an illusion
Watching the flowers as they die
False allegation
Fall of the nation
Watching the flowers as they die
You take the high road
I'll take the low road
Watching the flowers as they die
V2
Walk down the street
What do you see
Urban despair
Well close your eyes
Violence and blackness
Cascading in Darkness
Casting it's hue all over the world
Millions of people bought and sold
To fuel the corporate time machine
So inhuman
Who are we foolin
Who bears our shame
(repeat chorus)
CHANGE:
It's not over
It's not over
It's not over
It's not over
It's not over
I------------------------
Waiting for my miracle
The Flowers
The flowers are dying
Oh
Oh oh
Ooo Oh
Dying
The flowers
The flowers are
The flowers
The flowers are....
