Songs of the Sun

Story Behind The Song

Far too many folks I know get caught up in silly dramas, worrying over stuff they can do little about, and continue to be bogged down by the mundane. My lyric, "In the scheme of things, it really shouldn't matter," refers to how small and insignificant our problems are next to the expanse of the universe, death's permanence, and the endlessness of time.

Song Description

The SONG OF THE SUN lyric refers to life itself--when I later say, "There will be no dancing in the evening," I mean, of course, that once we are dead, we won't have the opportunity to take hold of life and enjoy it.
