I like how this piece builds in tempo and the instruments used. Perfect for film/tv.
The Russians are coming! Stood out after reviewing numerous other tunes in this genre. Unusual is good! Top score form me for arrangement - the strings are not an obvious lead patch.
I thought the whole thing was great! The eclectic beginning has great potential for film/TV/advertising. The second section was very well written and transformed to a more contemporary celebration to me. Again great potential for use. You showed very good musicianship!
Oh wow ... now this does bring me back to some old games I used to play back in the day. The track is nostalgic for me and the beginning is great, but when it changes gears and turns into an action-packed theme, it was even better. You had to have played some old games or watched classic cartoons yourself, I mean I can hear the inspiration everywhere in this piece. Either way, great job and let me know when you release more stuff!
This piece is so tongue in cheek that I was fascinated with it. I can see this fitting a gazillion things on television or movies... it has an almost childlike quality to it but it is very adult themed at the same time... very versatile.
It's a very classy and interesting composition. Strong shades of the Unfinished Symphony by Schubert and that is definitely a good thing. As a demo, showing the strength of your composition skills this is very good. Love the use of the strong string ostinato to support all of your melodic development. Driving section from 2" feels almost like a completely different piece, but I like that a lot too!
Good use of counterpoint and orchestration at :45 in.
Ambitious use of sequencer in the middle. I like the theme behind the sequencer part. Nice!
A fun ride this one! In 4 minutes, this song takes you on a journey. With a central theme that keeps things together, there are plenty of side roads on this one to keep things so interesting. This song is all ready to go with builds and breaks to keep things dynamically of interest.
Very good quality. Obviously you have two separate soundtracks.
Could be used in different Genres. For a Circus Movie Intro. Hope that's what your trying to convey.
Great work. Interesting intro leading into an 80s video game like retro piece. Fun listen.
Playful sequence in a pastry shop at night, followed by a trip in a beignet shaped balloon, somehow. Children will love this new Pixar movie.
This is good. It's kind of quirky, a good fit for film scene. The second part is really driving. Is it a cue for a film? Just wondered because it is 2 separate parts.
Good idea with the 3/4 time. The change at 2:37 is the best bit.
This piece musically creates a nice, effective air of mystery or romance.
This would be great for someone that needs something whimsical but royal at the same time. I could see many uses of this. I also enjoyed when the crashes came in and the instrumental increased in intensity. The change half-way through is pretty outstanding. You made an entirely different beat and I really enjoy the snares on the second half of your instrumental.
Positive rhythm that keeps one moving. Good variation, almost like two compositions in one.
I'm assuming you used a sequencer for the second half of the piece-if not, Rick Wakeman must be the unknown artist! This reminded me of Larry Fast's early music (Synergy). I really liked it. The rythm breaks added an interesting depth. The melody carried by the female chours in the background was really niece. If this were my composition, I would write a third section combining that melody with the first section's instrumentation/rythm.
This is a fantastically original piece! I do love a quirky sound and it made me smile, especially when it launched into that frenetic second half. I think you have a clear talent for composition and this is so different from what I normally hear (in a good way). I could imagine this being used in a comedy movie like Blades of Glory.
composition is strong, midi samples holding you back. cross between Yanni and manheim steamroller.
This is a neat song! My wife walked in while I was reviewing and she randomly said i had a Christmas feel? After she said it I could see that. The second part had more of a theatrical sound/feel. I wasn't expecting the change! Good work!
