Story Behind The Song
This song took me longer to complete than any other song in my catalogue! From the opening chords to the final lyrical content, approximately 30 years intervened! Hey, sometimes life and stuff happens!
Song Description
Having worked many jobs during the past 40 years from high paid University faculty status to a $6.oo/hr. civil engineer "rod-man" to house-father and quite a few in-between jobs, I knew that there was way more to life than I was getting in "Career moves"! I took 10 years off to get it together in seclusion and came out spiritually charged and full of conviction! I knew my life had a meaning and I knew my previous track was way off base!

Lyrics
Hello my friend I see you?ve climbed on up
Let me show you life at the top
These heights aren?t as real
As the power you gonna feel
Power
Deep down inside you
Power
Until that is all there is
Power
Raw, steel power
Using you
Hey now you?ve fallen down
I can show you
The poor side of town
These lows aren?t as real
As the blues you gonna feel
Blues
Deep down inside of you
Blues
Until there is nothing left but
Blues
Real mean Blues
Consuming you
Now you know I?ve seen you around
Let me introduce you to my side of town
Where the burden is light
And His yoke is easy!
Easy!
