(verse)
SOMETIMES I HEAR A WHISPER, SOMETIMES I HEAR A SCREAM.
SOMETIMES IT SEEMS SO REAL, BUT IT HAS TO BE A DREAM.
STILL IT'S IN MY HEART.
I CAN SMELL YOUR PERFUME, JUST A TRACE IN THE AIR.
FEEL YOUR BREATH UPON ME, IT'S LIKE YOU'RE STANDING THERE.
THOUGH WE?RE MILES APART.

(lift)
MY EYES ARE TELLING LIES TO ME, LIKE A MIRAGE, YOU'RE ALL I SEE.

(chorus)
THERE'S A WIND IN THE WIRES, SINGING OUT YOUR NAME.
LIKE A STORM IN THE DESERT, WIND CANNOT BE TAMED.
LONELY MILES AND DAYS ARE FUEL FOR THE FIRE.
THERE'S A WIND IN THE WIRES, I HEAR YOU CALLING ME.
FEELINGS OVERWHELMING, I NEED YOU HERE WITH ME,
CAUGHT IN THE UPDRAFT, SWIRLING EVER HIGHER
ON THE WIND IN THE WIRES.

(bridge)
PHONE'S NOT RINGING, BUT I HEAR YOU CALL.
BEING WITHOUT YOU, IS NOT LIVING AT ALL.
YOUR VOICE ECHOES OFF THE LONG DISTANCE LINES,
YOU KNOW I NEED YOU...AND I HEAR YOU...ALL OF THE TIME...

(solo)
THERE'S A WIND IN THE WIRES.
LONELY MILES AND DAYS ARE FUEL FOR THE FIRE.
CAUGHT IN THE UPDRAFT, SWIRLING EVER HIGHER.

(chorus)
THERE'S A WIND IN THE WIRES, SINGING OUT YOUR NAME.
LIKE A STORM IN THE DESERT, WIND CANNOT BE TAMED.
LONELY MILES AND DAYS ARE FUEL FOR THE FIRE.
THERE'S A WIND IN THE WIRES, I HEAR YOU CALLING ME.
FEELINGS OVERWHELMING, I NEED YOU HERE WITH ME,
CAUGHT IN THE UPDRAFT, SWIRLING EVER HIGHER,
ON THE WIND IN THE WIRES.

(vamp over fade)

Very good intro, gets you into the song right away. Nice arrangement, parts build excitement and work well together. Epic song, huge production. All the elements are here for a successful rock and roll song. Very good vocals, I would have liked to hear the back=ups just a touch louder and not all the lyrics were clear all the time. I really like the way you open it up on the out chorus and really jam it out with heart!

This song reminds me of the '80's. I have such great memories of that time period, and this was the type of music I was listening to. This Artist has tastefully turned back the clock. I love the feel and the vibe of this song. Strong vocals and very distinctive. Lots of personality in his singing.

Great beat, love the drum work. The sold builds extremely well from the intro on. To make it even better if it could be would have tried some of the guitar a little heavier in the mix, but that is only because I love the guitars. Great job, on the lyrics ties together very well.

Nice, progressive, could make a great TV soundtrack.

i enjoyed listening to this. Good hook, well sung, well written & well recorded. I could listen to more, always a good sign.
