So often, we find ourselves on the road in unfamiliar places, whether is traveling for work or perhaps traveling for other reasons, where we are challenged with our own securities. I find myself thinking about my relationships and how important they are to me and wonder if he is thinking about me with the same passion and resilience as I have for him. My insecurities definitely surface as I find myself searching for a safe place, if not a physical location, certainly a mental location where I can deal with my loneliness. This song is about experiences I had when I was on the road 100% of the time over a period of 7 years. I found myself longing to be with love to a point where it hurt. When he was not reachable - I figured I was the only one out of the two of us who was thinking about us.
