That pink glow, when the sun's down low
is punching through holes in the clouds
giving light to the falling snow
as it dances, towards the frozen ground
it won't be long 'til all the children
get tucked into bed
but not until they leave some cookies and milk
for that jolly man in red

Their stockings are full
and gifts from Santa are placed about
their sleepy eyes soon fill with joy
and that right there is what Christmas is all about

Snow and cold and crowded stores
make holiday shopping a chore
make a list and check it twice
so you know who you're buying for
one day soon, the children now
