Story Behind The Song
This is Track #2 on my latest CD entitled "Grounded".
Song Description
I'm telling the story of a past love; the memories so strong, they are like pictures in my mind that will never fade. My mind is the camera, and the camera loves taking "her" picture. This song has a lot of subtle humor that people who have heard it seem to love.

Lyrics
VERSE:
My memories are usually black-and-white
With one exception
Full-color on that crazy night
You held my hand and I fell to pieces
You held my pieces and I melted
CHORUS:
These pictures in my head will never fade away
Sepia-tone, black-and-white, or even 3,000 shades of gray
These pictures in my head will never fade away
Never fade away
No no, no no no
VERSE:
My memories are usually 'bout work or play
With one exception
Brown-chicken, brown-cow that day
You kissed my mouth and I fell to pieces
You kissed my pieces and I melted
CHORUS:
These pictures in my head will never fade away
Sepia-tone, black-and-white, or even 3,000 shades of gray
These pictures in my head will never fade away
They'll never fade away
No no, no no no
These pictures in my head will never fade away
Sepia-tone, black-and-white, or even 3,000 shades of gray
These pictures in my head will never fade away
Never fade away
No no, no no no
(Skippidy-ippidy-ippidy-bippidy-bip, let's go)
BRIDGE:
I'm turning Japanese
I think I'm really turning Japanese
With my photographic memory can I take your picture, please
So photogenic I can tell you
The camera loves you girl
So photogenic you take the prettiest picture in the whole wide world
CHORUS:
These pictures in my head will never fade away
Sepia-tone, black-and-white, or even 3,000 shades of gray
These pictures in my head will never fade away
They'll never fade away
No no, no no no
