Song Description
The piece begins with Chamber violins and celli playing a simple almost child like melody. As the melody develops, the Bassi plays a continuou while the celli plays counterpoint and the violas support the main theme.
A transitional theme introduces a third "jumpier" staccato theme. Then a fourth melower theme is played that is led by the celli then the bassi plays in unison. Although a melower theme, it's still light hearted sophistication.
Finally, the fourth theme concludes and the first three themes are repeated.
