Story Behind The Song
Just a bid stupid, old fashioned rock and roll song. My producer Gerry Hansen wanted a vocal that reminded him of Steve Marriott from Humble Pie, or some other old fashioned rocker who would wail then kick the mic stand over and leave the stage. This vocal was the first take. We did a few more but sometimes the first one is the truest.
Song Description
Good old fashioned 70's style rocker about having a "Good Woman". In the studio we tried to recreate some the "kick over the mic stand" lead vocals strong lead guitar riffs that made the 70's guitar leads and that made 70's acts like Foghat, Aerosmith, and Humble Pie so popular live.

Lyrics
GOOD WOMAN BLUES
Written by Spencer Durham
I got me a good woman she ain't never done me wrong
I said, I got me a good woman she ain't never done me wrong
You know me and my good, good woman are gonna get along
You know that my good woman she gets better everyday
You know that my good woman she gets better everyday
When she comes calling
I come running right away
Well I got me a good woman
She knows what to do
Never leaves me out in the rain
Theres always room for two
Oh I know she loves me
By the way she calls my name
If I lost my good woman
I'd be a crying shame
I got me a good woman she ain"t never done me wrong
I got me a good woman she ain"t never done me wrong
You know me and my good, good woman are gonna get along
