A terrific song - a tear jerker even. Lovely gentle arrangement led by a finely picked guitar and superb vocal. The chorus is lifted by backing vocals and gives the song harmonic depth. One of the best songs I have reviewed so far.
Great song loved the music loved the lyrics. Most of all loved the vocals and the emotion the singer easily captured. Very commercial sounding vibe and certainly could see this being in a film. Great work!

Very nice sound. Kind of like Gordon Lightfoot meets Dan Fogelberg. It's hard to produce a song that is so tame and mellow without also being somewhat trite, buy you have accomplished it here. Very well written song with excellent performances, including backing vocals.
This tune has a "Bread" and or Dan Fogelberg sound and feel...no complaints from me on these performers or you! Very tasteful guitar work, nice selection of chords throughout and the overall instrumentation was appropriate, well balanced when mixed. The background vocals blended well, subtle and pure. Your rhyming was simple in many cases but not at all trite, sometimes unpredictable which was good. Memorable chorus

Guitar sound is really great. The melodies are nice, seems genuine. I like when it goes into "I would give the sky." It could be great to get there sooner because its so pretty. The backgrounds are very pleasant too.

I think the lyrics are strong, but the melody didn't really connect with me. The recording quality is top notch and i think the instrumentation really adds to the feel of the song, specifically the flute.
