Story Behind The Song
This song was written during a huge storm in Chicago while I was in a huge storm in a relationship. In a twist of fate, I of course wrote about both of them. I saw the two as entirely synonymous and as you can see storm clouds gather, so could I see the trouble brewing in my own relationship.
Song Description
A dropped D guitar heavy tune about the impending start of problems in life with a guitar solo that is big and booming and meant to imitate the hitting of the storm and the last verse sums up the issue with "it won't be okay, just leave me here alone."

Lyrics
I don't mind it, those words you say
I don't mind it, I'll be okay
Don't leave me here alone
Don't leave me here alone
Those blue skies turn to gray
That winter storm is, on it's way, yeah
You feel fine when, you know the chords
You feel fine when, you hit that door
Don't make me sit and stay
Don't make me sit and stay
Those blue skies turn to gray
That winter storm is, on it's way, yeah
Sick and tired, those words you say
Sick and tired, it won't be okay
Just leave me here alone
Just leave me here alone
Those blue skies turn to gray
That winter storm is, Here to Stay, yeah
