Story Behind The Song
This was the first song I had written in some 10 years. I wrote it in about 15 minutes when the subject matter was fresh, which was unfortunate for me. I was in the midst of trying to figure out how to get out of a relationship I was in. I felt trapped or "chained," so the song naturally was called "Unchained."
Song Description
Using a quick and catchy guitar riff, the scream at the intro lets you know there is some pain in this tune. Modern blues rock at its finest in talking about freeing oneself from love.

Lyrics
Tell me everything you fear
Then maybe I will hold you near
You tell me everything's okay
I wanna be unchained
Take this life, hold it to the light
Clearly something is not right
It's not your fault, I'll take the blame
I wanna be unchained
Unchained
Unchained
Unchained
It's been a while since I been free
This mirrored face just can't be me
Finally free from all your pain
I am unchained
In this empty room, I still scream your name
Even though you're gone, it still feels the same
Unchained
Unchained
