The Bastard Child is a solo project, thought up around 2004. The music is purely studio and there is no intention of it ever being played live.

Although origionally bass driven (as that is The Bastard Child's chosen instrument) the music has developed as has the idea's and themes of the pieces of work. There is a strong theme binding the songs together on each demo.

All the music is also produced, recorded and mixed by The Bastard Child, which makes for a fun time in the studio, running between controller room and live room.

The sound of The Bastard Chils is a big mix of things, from electronica to acoustic to the just plain odd. With the lyrics having no real connection to anything other than The Bastard Child's mind!
