The Band
The Digglers are a Bay Area band that formed six years ago. 2004 plans to be a big year for the band, promoting their recently recorded CD. Led by vocalist front man, Mick Austin, with band members, Dan Wax (lead guitar/backup vocals), Tom Farris (bass), and Peter Dmytryk (drums/percussion).

The Music

With a country/rock style, the group recorded 17 songs, putting eight of the songs on an album they now sell at gigs and on CDBABY.COM. The music is influenced by such groups as Dylan, Gram Parsons, The Byrds, Lennon, Van Morrison, Neil Young, John Hyatt, Tom Waits and Steve Earle. The music appeals to classic rock sensibilities as well as the more country side of rock.
