Hey Guys- I'm Brian Melo I'm a singer songwriter based out of Hamilton Ont Canada- I've been writing songs since the early age of 6 years old and have never stopped. Just like most people here, music is my life, it's everything to me- My big break came when I won Canadian Idol Season 5 in 2007. it was an amazing experience and a great launching pad for me, I was signed with SonyMusic and my first album "Livin It" hit GOLD status in Canada"and I got my first number 1 single with my song "All I ever wanted" in 2010 I released my 2nd record "The Truth" which has had both top40 and top20 hits . I'd say my songwriting style has a modern pop-rock feel to it, but I'm a fan of many genres and I'm looking at stretching myself as a songwriter. I think this is a great way to showcase the many different shades of my songwriting and I look forward too your feed back...
