Patty thanks for the 2 reviews! Mrs Kate

Thanks for the reviews of Renewable Energy and They Know Where We Are. And yes that was an I intentional time change..... BTW I love your stuff.. Marvin

Hi Patty,
Thanks for the review of "Where's The Snow" ! Yeah, that one is a fun and predictable piece... and you're right about Holiday Songs. I think a lot of people like the standards at those times of year. My wife and I did out together our own original Christmas Songs (Where's The Snow included with 6 others) and it was really fun doing it. If you're interested here's a link to it on Broadjam: https://www.broadjam.com/albums/fra nkpietrantoni/franklps-christmas-mu sic

Note that the songs at the link includes a couple of covers that I did later but weren't on the actual CD... back when there were CDs!!

While I'm here I'll check out some of your stuff.

Thanks again for listening!

Be and stay well,
Frank

Hi Patty.....just stopping by to say thank you for your very kind rating of BroGreede's "Don't Matter Anyway"....it's a pretty old tune going way back and certainly not one of my personal favs. Anyway....I appreciate you taking the time to give a listen! There are more ...if you want to call more recent tunes you may want to listen to and they have all been on Top 10's lasting a long while...i.e. "Rise Up My Angel"-a tune I felt compelled to write during the Covid -19 Pandemic- a tribute to all the healthcare & essential workers- who are the real heroes..... "Annabelle"- a special tune for me since it was near the end of BroGreede and my brother sang it before he suddenly passed....and "White Pass"...the very last song that I was assigned to sing by my brother while he was away on vacation....he never heard the final take with me singing-he passed that next day! I lost my other bandmate about 6 yrs. after my brother. As you can see sadly ...BroGreede had a series of unfortunate events! I'm the last original/ founding member and all I'm doing is carrying the torch-sort of speak- and the memories of my dear brother and other bandmate! It's been a real long rough ride. We have been members on Bjam since 2001 so I'm here just for those reasons-nothing else. I'm proud of what we did...good or bad..... We were robbed of time ...we had much better plans...it was all exciting! BroGreede simply was 2 brothers coming together who had the same passion for creating their own music-and because of this we became closer than ever! At least that was a blessing! Sorry to tell you all this...hope I didn't give you a headache!? And Thank you once again for being so kind! Please accept a friendship-that would be appreciated. And while I'm here ...I will give a few listens to your music!!...........:)
God Bless,
Tony Keys-BroGreede

Hi Patty,
Thanks so much for the review of my song "The Blend". I really appreciate you taking the time to listen and provide your honest perspectives/feedback.

You are totally correct that the only "live" elements are the sax, flute and shaker (all played by Matt Wallace and vocal samples (recorded by EastWest as part of their HOLLYWOOD BACKUP SINGERS library).

While I would love to have live musicians playing/recording all my songs, the reality is that I don't have the budget to hire musicians to do this. And quite honestly, I (and many musicians I do know) don't have the time that it would take to learn, and then schedule time to rehearse and record all the ideas that I come up with.

That said, that is actually how I used to record all my originals many a multitrack ago! But that was also when I was playing fulltime in a band and had band members that were willing/eager to volunteer their time to do/perform original material.

Fast forward to today. I am so very grateful that modern technology allows me to realize the various ideas that I have in my head... previous to today, many ideas evaporated into faint memories due to me not having the resources to "burn them to tape".

So, while technology is a great tool for me (and others to use to get our ideas "out there"), I do continue to work to improve my writing/production chops, and to making my music more "soulful" when the genre calls for it.

Thanks again for your feedback.

While I'm here, I'll check out some of your music.

Be and stay well,
Frank

Hi, Chalam,
Thanks for your very nice review of my song, I can see why you called it 3 seconds--the real name is Choose Your Destination. My name is Patty Tuite and I sang the song as well. I'm in the Northeast, where are you from? Thanks again! -Patty

Thank you for the terrific review of Let the Blues Begin. I'm going to adjust the mix

Hi Patty, many many thanks for your incredibly kind review of "Can You Be True," I'm very grateful for your kind words. I also really appreciated your wonderful comments re vocals (that's Carla Cook on vocals, I'm a nonperforming songwriter), and the two singers you mentioned gave me some great ideas so again, thanks!! Looking forward to hearing more of your music, I listened to a couple of the songs and liked them, and your voice, a lot. All best wishes...

Yo Patty,
Thanks for your review of "Don't You Wish" Larry and Phil do a super job with those tight harmonies. That is a fairly old recording and your comment on the mix is noted. There is a bass in there, somewhere, I'll have to look into maybe a remix. Really liked your "All I Got is Time" Great feel, vocals and guitar work. Keep up the fantastic work and keep listening.
Thanks again,
JD Carroll

Dear Patty, Yes, I submit all the time; I have never had any luck on a deal but I figure I will keep trying nonetheless. It's like the lottery; winning is unlikely but you cannot win if you do not play. I did win a contest once. Best, Sue
