Patty Tuite

Patty Tuite has been singing and playing guitar since 1978. She started out learning folk/pop songs. In the early '90's, she began to go to blues open-mike sessions and developed a stronger, more bluesy voice to accompany the changes in her guitar style. Influenced by artists such a Bonnie Raitt, Etta James, and Koko Taylor, Patty learned how to play slide guitar and began to write her own material. In 1997, she recorded her first CD, "Live at the Tic Toc", which include 7 blues standards and 5 originals. In 1998 she formed her own band, "The Patty Tuite Band", and released a second CD in 2001 called "Girls Night Out". This CD was composed entirely of the band members' original songs. The band recorded a third CD in 2006, called "Blonde and Blue", which had more diversity in styles (jazz, blues, folk).  She continued to play in her band but got away from songwriting until 2020. In the course of two years she produced two new all original CDs, "Consider This" and "Hard Case Of The B

Thanks for the reviews of Renewable Energy and They Know Where We Are. And yes that was an I intentional time change..... BTW I love your stuff.. Marvin

Hi Patty,
Thanks for the review of "Where's The Snow" ! Yeah, that one is a fun and predictable piece... and you're right about Holiday Songs. I think a lot of people like the standards at those times of year. My wife and I did out together our own original Christmas Songs (Where's The Snow included with 6 others) and it was really fun doing it. If you're interested here's a link to it on Broadjam: https://www.broadjam.com/albums/fra nkpietrantoni/franklps-christmas-mu sic

Note that the songs at the link includes a couple of covers that I did later but weren't on the actual CD... back when there were CDs!!

While I'm here I'll check out some of your stuff.

Thanks again for listening!

Be and stay well,
Frank
