Blending folk, classical, prog-rock, soul, and jazz may be difficult, even hazardous, but singer-songwriter and guitarist Dan Costello is up to the challenge. He's been in everything from hard rock bands to jazz ensembles to medieval instrumental troupes. He holds a BM degree in classical guitar and has worked both in and out of the scholastic realm in almost every aspect of the music industry. Costello has shared the stage with Steve Miller, Third Eye Blind, Robert Earl Keen, Chris Botti et al. He is also the radio host of KBSU's Music From Stanley. Myriad other musical endeavors make for an eye-popping 250-shows-per-year performance schedule. Costello is an outspoken advocate of local grass-roots music.
