Bio
Sarah Fridrich came to her calling as a songwriter, late but resolutely, after a decade of travel and study throughout the U.S., and overseas, in search of escape and redemption.
She performed on her first open mic stage as a songwriter in 2000. While pursuing songwriting gigs in Baltimore-Washington area, she also honed her jazz piano skills, while attending the University of Maryland, College Park's Jazz Studies Program, and at the Stanford Jazz Summer Workshop, in Palo Alto, California.
Sarah met Dan Marcellus through the jazz scenes in Baltimore and D.C. Inspired by rehearsals with Dan (and a late discovery of The Dresden Dolls and Amanda Palmer's solo album), she started focusing all her songwriting and music composition efforts to a piano & drum based duo sound.
In the Summer of 2008, she began writing a canon of new songs that comprise her 2011 *Ms. Fridrich* duo album with Dan titled "You Call That Brave" - available on Bandcamp now!

Past efforts include a 2006 studio recording project that resulted in her first EP of earthy-alternative-pop songs - released September 2007. In 2008, Sarah performed extensively in the D.C. metropolitan area.

"Sarah Fridrich is an Annapolis native who has been lighting up stages up and down the East Coast. Her jazz-inflected singer-songwriter style, infused with indi-pop, draws rave reviews"
