It is not unusual to believe that an adult has a hidden child in their psyche. I go one step further and believe that both men and women have a little girl and a little boy inside them. When ignored they 'watch' in horror as we try to find happiness/fulfilment by continually striving to achieve a place on the next rung. It is a game that is impossible to win as there is always going to be another rung above our heads. Happiness is not to be found at the top of a ladder! It is sometimes simply to be found inside us. We can be our own happiness
