Story Behind The Song
This song was written by Renzo Rosso, an old scholar and amateur composer, in collaboration with Fabrizio Lentini. Children of a Lesser River is a duo consisting of myself and Fabrizio and other musicians who performed the song here. Our age prevents us from performing in public. The purpose of the current performance is to showcase our song to those who want to include it in their repertoire. Score and arrangement are available without charge in DAW format.

Rain is gift from sky, when its intensity is moderate and its duration not too extended.Rain becomes distruptive when its rate and duration are extreme. However rain conceals my tears after a major sentimental disaster occurred. So I like walkng out in the rain.

Lyrics
Each raindrop is a kiss from heaven
falling on our head
tear-shaped from a crazy goddess
who lives next to the fountainhead.
Each raindrop is a spot of magic
giving us our bread,
but Jupiter's a crazy God-king
who rumbles from the thunderhead.
And now it rains, how long it's raining
the hills are slipping down on the roads
changing topographic codes
but I don't care for the footway pools
as I like walking out in the rain,
so none can see that I'm crying
since I struggle for my pain.
Why did you left me alone again?
Each raindrop is a kiss from heaven
cleaning out our strain
but nobody's a clever wizard
who's able to wash the brain
And now it storms, how long it's storming
the creeks are overflowing the roads
changing topographic codes
but I don't care for the sidewalk pools
as I like walking out in the rain,
so none can see that I'm crying
since I struggle for my pain.
For I gave my heart to you in vain.
