Story Behind The Song

This song was recorded in 1984 in Pittsburgh by my band The Shades. We had a recording contract and it was going to be our first single. Unfortunately the label had financial problems and it was never released.

Song Description

Upbeat song inspired by the Soho section of NYC at the time and also the quasi-bohemian neighborhood of Shadyside in Pittsburgh. The song is definitely a product of the era and parts can sound rather dated.
